Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter SARAH KELLY, whose earthy soulfulness has often been compared to Janis Joplin with her passionate vocal delivery and unique artistic presence, is set to make her Austin debut at SXSW. KELLY is 2-for-2 with GRAMMY nominations, recently being recognized for her sophomore release Where the Past Meets Today, along with her 2004 debut Take Me Away. She is now on the shortlist of breakout artists to watch in 2007.

SARAH KELLY is positioned for major presence at SXSW, performing at Amoeba's Cosmic American Music Experience, presented by Amoeba Music, Polly Parsons & Gorgeous PR, alongside Amoeba artist Brandi Shearer and special guests Charlie Louvin, Quincy Coleman, Jim Lauderdale, Tim Easton, Jon Langford (Mekons/Waco Bros.), James Walsh (Starsailor)and Pamela Des Barres. Kelly will also perform at the Heidi's Night of Beauty, Hunnypot Radio & City Beat Presents: "The Girls Are Representing" with Brandi Shearer, the Dollyrots, the Trucks, Rocket and All Wrong & The Plans Change.
