Houston,U.S. (Top40 Charts/ Purpose Records) -S inger, songwriter, actress MAYA AZUCENA, will be previewing songs from her upcoming CD "Junkyard Jewel," scheduled for release May 15 on Purpose Records. Maya describes her sound as "Raw Soul." She is also one of the most diverse artists in today's market moving seamlessly through many genres. The depth of Maya's diversity is showcased by a current myriad of guest appearances. Ms.Azucena can be heard on the STEPHEN MARLEYS debut CD, Mind Control, on the duet "Let Her Dance." She is the featured vocalist with rapper Mr. Oktober on the track "All Falls Down " from Producer/ DJ BLACK PANTHER's project, which charted No 5 on the hip-hop underground chart, Rap Attack Lives.com and the Rapnetwork. Again her vocals grace the dance track " MAKE IT HAPPEN," currently a top25 song on the BILLBOARD DANCE CHART. If that wasn't enough, Maya's video "Too Much" from her debut CD Maya Who?! was recently featured on the NBC television program 30 ROCK.

Singer, songwriter, producer ANGELA JOHNSON will also be debuting and previewing songs from her upcoming producer project "A Woman's Touch" scheduled for release on June 26. "A Woman's Touch" showcases Angela's producer, arranging, songwriting and musician skills. Featured on the project are collaborations and contributions from MAYSA LEAK (INCOGNITO), CLAUDE MCKNIGHT (TAKE 6), JULIE DEXTER, RAHSAAN PATTERSON, GORDON CHAMBERS, ANTHONY DAVID, LISALA BEATY, TRICIA ANGUS, MONET and MARLON SAUNDERS. Angela's tunes "You're Here With Me" and "Home Away from Home" from her "Got to Let It Go" project are currently being featured throughout the country in all stores that sell BOSE speakers.
