TORONTO, Canada (Nickelback Fans Website) -
Nickelback singer
Chad Kroeger and attorney Jonathan Simkin are readying their first release on their newly formed record label, 604 Records, which will be distributed by Roadrunner/Island Def Jam.
The first release is the self-titled debut from Vancouver rockers Theory of a Deadman on Sept. 17. Kroeger and Joey Moy (Nickelback, Default) co-produced the album. The first single, "Nothing Could Come Between Us," hits alternative radio in late July.
If the band sounds familiar, it's because its track "Invisible Man" is featured on the Spider-Man soundtrack, which also includes the Kroeger hit "Hero."
Meanwhile, Theory of a Deadman is in the midst of some Canadian dates (the next shows are):
June 28, Point Edwards, Ontario, Sarnia Riverfest
June 29, Montreal, Bourbon St. North
June 30, Guelph, Ontario, Club Denim
July 1, Barrie, Ontario, Molson Park (Edgefest)
July 2, Toronto, Horseshoe Tavern and
July 14, Camrose, Alberta, Stage 13 (Big Valley Jamboree).
