Houston at the start of the sold-out 42-city arena tour, this two-disc set features every song from the quadruple-platinum High School Musical movie soundtrack – the No 1 best-selling album of 2006 – plus bonus tracks performed live in concert by Disney's star artists.
In addition to the audio CD, the release includes a DVD which captures the exhilaration of the show with over 30 minutes of live concert footage – plus exclusive behind-the-scenes interview footage with the all-star cast. Corbin Bleu ("Chad"), Monique Coleman ("Taylor"), Lucas Grabeel ("Ryan"), Vanessa Hudgens ("Gabriella"), Ashley Tisdale ("Sharpay") and singer/songwriter Drew Seeley (who toured in place of Zac Efron "Troy") all perform the hit songs from High School Musical's multi-million selling soundtrack live from the concert stage, capturing the energy and electrifying performances. The bonus tracks on the CD also showcase Bleu, Hudgens and Tisdale with breakout moments from each concert, as they perform material from their current and/or forthcoming albums – the only place to hear these live selections.
