While the event is still more than three months away, Wayne Elsey, Founder of Soles4Souls, isn't hiding his growing optimism for the evening. "This is the finest opportunity for the footwear industry to gather together to have a great time while supporting the industry's own charitable organizations: Two Ten Footwear Foundation and Soles4Souls," he said. "Stevie Nicks and Hall & Oates put on an amazing live show, and we are confident we will have a packed house for this event because of the amount of phone calls and emails we have received," Elsey said.
"The WSA Show is proud the have this incredible evening as the focal point for the efforts of Soles4Souls and the Two Ten Footwear Foundation," said Diane Stone, COO of WSA. "With the global footwear industry assembled in one place, there is the opportunity to create awareness and raise funds so that the industry can help its own and help the world. This is a first-class venue for holding a first-class event," she said.
"The footwear industry has been remarkably supportive of both Soles4Souls and Two Ten, and we want to thank them by creating an incredible concert experience," Elsey said. "For the first time, concertgoers will have access to branded skyboxes, which offer incredible views and are fully catered. The Orleans Arena has all the extra amenities that will make the night a true V.I.P. experience," he said.
