SAN FRANCISCO, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Recording Academy) - WHO: Presenters: GRAMMY winner James Hetfield of Metallica, E Street band saxophonist "the Big Man" Clarence Clemons, and Rebel Management's Katrina Sirdofsky.

Performers: GRAMMY winner Michael Anthony formerly of Van Halen, GRAMMY-winning R&B singer Lisa Fischer, Eric Martin, formerly of the band Mr. Big, heavy metal pioneer Ronnie Montrose, "The Tonight Show's" Vicki Randle, and rock and roll string players The Section Quartet.

Honorees: GRAMMY winner Sammy Hagar, GRAMMY nominee Linda Perry, and three-time GRAMMY winner Narada Michael Walden.

WHAT: The Recording Academy Honors™ Award was established to celebrate outstanding individuals whose work embodies excellence and integrity and who have improved the environment for the creative community. Formerly known as the Governors Awards, this annual gala supports the San Francisco Chapter's ongoing advocacy, education and professional development programs.
