London, UK. (Top40 Charts/ Virgin Records) - V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Mobile announce five more acts to one of the hottest line ups of the season today. Jet, Lemar, Willy Mason, Juliette & The Licks and Just Jack along with the 34 previously announced acts are gearing up to play Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of 18-19 August.

These additional acts are joining an amazing line-up, including headliners The Killers, Foo Fighters and Snow Patrol as well as Jarvis Cocker, Amy Winehouse, Basement Jaxx, Mika, The Kooks and lots more.

Bob Angus, V Festival Director comments:
'It's great that we continually announce acts that we know will be excellent crowd pleasers over the weekend and these four new artists demonstrate further the variety of music V Festival has to offer'.

Meeting via Melbourne's late night drinking circuit, Jet released their debut album in 2003. Having since topped the Australian hot 100 list, performed at Live 8 with Neil Young and toured the World, Jet set about getting back to the rock'n'roll roots that they have always been obsessed with and they are set to thrill the fans this summer.

Although still in his mid-twenties, Lemar has experience that belies his years. A mild-mannered, academic, even slightly shy north London lad, he struggled for eight long years to get a record deal. With his good looks and a rich, expressive voice, Lemar looks set to thrill the fans this summer.

Willy Mason's music shows ambitious songwriting combining personal tales with socio-cultural commentary and effortlessly expressing his own experiences. His recent album 'If The Ocean Gets Rough' is fuelled with eleven of Willy Mason's best songs to date and this year he looks set to enchant festival-goers in August.

Despite a long established film career that has seen her play some of celluloid's most complex and striking heroines, music has always been a constant for Juliette Lewis. In 2003 she formed Juliette & The Licks- a five piece outfit who have established an unshakable presence as a live act and whose presence at this year's V festival looks to be a truly incendiary event

Neither bound by musical restrictions nor the notional idea of cool, Just Jack has taken the sum of his individual influences and turned them into a unique, genre hopping album. Just Jack isn't Hip-Hop, he isn't House and he isn't lush singer-songwriting. He's a bit of all of them and he's set to go down a storm at this year's V.

These five acts join the line up so far…

THE KILLERS • FOO FIGHTERS • SNOW PATROL • KASABIAN • PINK
KANYE WEST • JAMES • BASEMET JAXX • THE KOOKS
