Vancouver, Canada (Top40 Charts/ Alpha Music Group) - Floor Thirteen will headline New Music West Festival, on Thursday, May 3rd at 11:30 PM at Richard's on Richards which is located on 1036 Richards Street (between Nelson and Helmcken). New Music West (NMW) sponsors over 200 bands and Floor Thirteen has been selected for their premium show. The event is sponsored by Sirius Satellite Radio.

New Music West is the largest and most influential new music festival on the west coast. In the past, Matthew Good, The Flaming Lips, Liz Phair, Nickelback, Run DMC, Gene Simmons, Marilyn Manson, Hot Hot Heat, Sam Roberts, My Morning Jacket, Stars and The Lowest of the Low have performed. Floor Thirteen is the next big band to emerge from this year's festival where they were chosen as a premier showcase out of 1,000's of submissions.

Floor Thirteen was produced by Brandon Freisen, a multi Juno Award winning, Grammy-nominated Producer. Has worked with Billy Talent, 54-40, Big Wreck, Three Days Grace, Default, Seether, Everlast, Finger 11, Stevie Salas, Bif Naked, Nickleback, Big Sugar, Danko Jones, Collective Soul, Tea Party, to name a few.
