 Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ ACM) - The Academy of Country Music is set to award the best of the best, and the Grand Ole Opry is celebrating with an America's Grand Ole Opry Weekend ACM Awards Special. Airing the weekend of May 12, the radio special will feature Opry performances recorded live by the hottest artists up for this year's top ACM trophies. The special will feature Opry performances by Opry members Brad Paisley, with his smash hit 'She's Everything,' and Martina McBride's 'Anyway.' Other performances included are 'Before He Cheats' by Carrie Underwood, 'Would You Go With Me' by Josh Turner, Taylor Swift's 'Teardrops On My Guitar,' '8th of November' by Big & Rich, 'If You're Going Through Hell' by Rodney Atkins, and many more of radio's biggest hits from the past year. The live recordings were recorded on stage at the Grand Ole Opry House, itself an ACM nominee for Venue of the Year.
