
LOS ANGELES, CA (Top40 Charts/ New West Records) - The
National Association of Recording Merchandisers (NARM) recognized New West Records this year with the honor of Entertainment Software Supplier Of The Year-Small Division. The award, which is voted for by trading partners in the industry, was presented at the 49th annual convention in
Chicago on May 2.

Recently, New West has released critically acclaimed albums from Rickie Lee Jones and Kris Kristofferson, who himself was honored in April with the Johnny Cash Visionary Award from Country Music Television. Upcoming projects for the label include a new album from songsmith Ben Lee in September, as well as new releases from music legends Dwight Yoakam and Steve Earle this fall. New West continues to have success with the Live From Austin Texas DVDs and CDs, culled from the acclaimed PBS Television series 'Austin City Limits,' from artists such as Johnny Cash, Neko Case and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
