LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - Former En Vogue and Lucy Pearl singer Dawn Robinson will release her first solo album Oct. 16 on Q Records. The album, titled "Dawn", will be supported by a tour with dates to be announced, according to a spokesperson.
The album finds Robinson collaborating with an assortment of songwriters and producers, including Pajam (Sisqo), Travon Potts (Christina Aguilera), Allstar (Joe), R&B singer Kenni Ski (Christion) and members of the production team the Mysphitz (Musiq Soulchild).

The first single is "Envious", which will hit radio in mid-September. A video will be shot in the coming weeks. The singer was a principal member of the all-star trio Lucy Pearl (which includes Raphael Saadiq and Ali Shaheed Muhammad), until she was replaced by Joi last November.
