Sydney, AU. (Top40 Charts/ EMI MUSIC Australia) - Kisschasy have been pretty tight lipped about many details of their forthcoming album for a few reasons…In January of this year the band set up a blog site at www.hymnsforthenonbeliever.com, which was a way members of Kisschasy could share ideas and thoughts on certain topics that didn't fit in exactly with their official website.

Stemming from that idea is the name of the record, HYMNS FOR THE NON BELIEVER, which in itself is a statement from the band about not believing everything that you are told and questioning ideas and beliefs that you are force fed. HYMNS FOR THE NON BELIEVER will be released on July 21.

The first single to be taken off HYMNS FOR THE NON BELIEVER is the insanely catchy "Opinions Won't Keep You Warm At Night". The video was written by the band themselves, directed by Toby Angwin, and has been causing quite a stir lately, leaking onto many blog sites, before being officially released and garnering a word of mouth following. The video centres on a love triangle between George W Bush, Tony Blair and Dick Cheney, and stars our very own John Howard as the annoying little brother who just tries so hard to impress George W Bush. The 4 "leaders" from the video also made a very public appearance at the MTV Awards a few weeks ago, to the shock and disbelief of many.

The "Opinions Won't Keep You Warm At Night" single will be available at retail on June 9 and is available to purchase on iTunes now. Fans can purchase 4 different singles with covers painted by US environmental artist Jenn Porreca, and 4 discs each with a different B-side containing covers by Australian artists, You Am I, Regurgitator, Holly Throsby and the Hoodoo Gurus. These limited edition singles are only available via pre order on the band's MySpace page, or at one of their upcoming shows or gallery events.

And if that's not enough information, Kisschasy last weekend hit the road on their "Opinions Won't Keep You Home At Night" tour. Tickets are almost sold out for all of the shows with only a handful left. On their off days the band will be holding exclusive listening parties for their new album, and in the spirit of HYMNS FOR THE NON BELIEVER, will be displaying and speaking about the original artworks that Jenn Porreca painted for the album. (The band may even play a few acoustic songs!). Tickets to attend these parties were extremely limited, and were given away via MySpace and MTV, with the 200 or so fans at each Gallery event among the first people ever to hear the new Kisschasy record, HYMNS FOR THE NON BELIEVER.
