LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Eleven Seven Records) - Platinum recording band Drowning Pool have announced details around their upcoming release Full Circle, set to hit on July 24 via Eleven Seven Records. For Drowning Pool, this is their third album, and first for Eleven Seven Music/ADA ? Full Circle represents a chance to continue to build on the band's success, with a new lead singer in old friend Ryan McCombs, a new label and new management, though with the same fiery commitment to their music and one another.

Full Circle is the band's strongest recording to date. While the album is more mature, melodic and accessible than its predecessors, it doesn't sacrifice any of the power that fans have come to expect from the group. "These songs have been with us a long time, and they're very personal," says guitarist C.J. Pierce. The album was produced by longtime friend Ben Schigel (Chimaira, Walls of Jericho), and features a collaboration track with Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx and Beautiful Creatures' DJ Ashba.

In 2002, original lead singer Dave Williams passed away from a rare heart disease, leaving the band with a very important decision to make. "We wanted to keep writing music together," says drummer Mike Luce, "but we did wonder if it would still be Drowning Pool without Dave or whether we should keep the name in his memory." Wanting to keep the band a close-knit group, they considered other vocalists but found the right fit with ex-SOiL vocalist/close friend Ryan McCombs. Once again, Drowning Pool is ready to take the world by storm.

The band's debut, Sinners, released in 2002, went platinum in just six months, and the first single "Bodies" was on heavy rotation on music channels and radio stations nationwide. The band played Ozzfest that summer and as the single took off, the band moved from the small third stage to one-off performances on the main stage. "Bodies" became an anthem, not only to Drowning Pool's fans in North America, but also to the soldiers fighting overseas who would play the track before flying missions over Iraq.

The band took great pride in knowing that their music was giving something back to the troops overseas, and decided to get further involved in supporting the soldiers in Iraq and elsewhere in the world by teaming up with the USO to perform overseas. Following their last performance for the troops, Drowning Pool came home to the United States and wrote a track for their new record, Full Circle, entitled "Soldiers."? The band has made this track available for free download through the USO's MySpace page, and the video for "Bodies" which features footage from the band's time overseas ? is also available for free stream.

"During the past year-and-a-half, we have been fortunate to spend a great deal of time with American soldiers overseas," explains bassist Stevie Benton. "We are honored to be so embraced by our servicemen and women. After returning from the Persian Gulf, our priority was writing a song about our troops and for our troops. I hope they will accept the song as a show of our respect and thanks for all they do for our country." CJ adds, "This is not only for American troops but for troops in all countries fighting for peace."

The band will be donating $1 from all of the tickets sold to their upcoming U.S. tour to the USO to further show their support for our troops overseas and at home.
