Radio announced today that it will be the exclusive national radio partner of the first annual True Colors Tour, an historic nationwide concert tour conceived and organized by
Cyndi Lauper in support of The Human Rights Campaign to raise public awareness about the issues facing the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community. The tour launches June 8th.
SIRIUS OutQ, America's first and only 24/7 national radio station exclusively for the Gay and Lesbian community, will broadcast a comprehensive on-air campaign beginning May 2007 to support the message and success of True Colors 2007. Beginning before the tour and continuing through its conclusion, OutQ's extensive True Colors coverage will include interviews and features with activists, organizers, artists, and community leaders working to protect the rights of the Gay community. In addition, SIRIUS OutQ will air the True Colors concert recorded from New York's Radio City Music Hall.

Our fans can come out to celebrate a great cause while also hearing some great music." The True Colors Tour kicks off on June 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and continues throughout Gay and Lesbian Pride month. It features a powerful lineup of musical acts and entertainers currently scheduled to include Cyndi Lauper, Erasure, Debbie Harry, Indigo Girls, Rufus Wainwright, The Dresden Dolls, The Gossip, The Misshapes and more. Each show is expected to feature five hours of nonstop music and many special guests.
