NEW YORK (Pearl Jam Fans Website) - Epic Records has finally confirmed an exact release date for the seventh studio album from Pearl Jam. Earlier this month, the group said the album would be due in November, but Epic announced on Monday (July 15) that it's on their release schedule for Nov. 19. In addition, Epic says that there are tentative plans for Pearl Jam to play a few live shows before the year's end, with a full-scale world tour in the works for 2003. The not-yet-titled album, produced by the band and Adam Kasper, and mixed by Brendan O'Brien, features a special guest musician named Boom, who's a friend of singer Ed Vedder. (Yes, Ed, not Eddie.) Boom plays keyboards, piano, and organ on several songs.
