NEW YORK (KRS-One Website) - KRS-One was the headliner of the Stuck On Earth rave which was held at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom on Wednesday (July 3) night. While opening drum and bass act Rabbit and The Moon provided the teen audience with a high powered light show, the stars didn't really come out until KRS-One took the stage.

The rapper made his agenda clear from the moment he hit the stage and that was to attack his current nemesis, Nelly. Earlier in the day KRS-One shared that he respected Nelly for being so willing to take a lyrical beating. "Battle KRS for street credibility...I respect that. Do you know how much heart it takes to battle KRS? I respect that. I respect Nelly's heart for that because he knows I'm going to smash him up against the wall like a mosquito. He knows it. That's the Christ. He's willingly going to his death, but he will be resurrected. And the way he'll be resurrected is, he will finally join the hip-hop community. What he always wanted."

KRS-One took the stage with Freddie Foxxx and was joined by his protege, Mad Lion. The rapper opened with his anti-Nelly anthem "Ova Here" and then performed many of his hits from his sixteen plus year rap career. Throughout his set, KRS-One invited special guests to perform some of their hits, including M.O.P., Gang Starr, Jeru The Damaja, Afu-Ra, and Supernatural.

In related news, KRS-One has just released a thirteen-song sampler titled Prophets vs. Profits, which includes his two Nelly diss records, "Ova Here," and "You Don't Really Want It." The rapper's next official release will be Kristyle, which will be released in 2003.
