COACHELLA, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Spotlight 29 Casino) - Spotlight 29 Casino's summer of fun concert series is bringing the best in today's headliner entertainment to the Coachella Valley, and now the casino is proud to announce that one of rock's best guitar players has been added to the line-up. Rocker Joe Walsh will be in concert in the casino's Spotlight Showroom on July 28.

Never one to take a break, Walsh recently finished a new recording with the Eagles, and he has been selling out arenas and concert events across the country, including three sell-out shows at the Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, Calif., this past year.

Walsh can be heard on 150 different albums. In addition to his own bands and solo projects, he has recorded albums with the industry's biggest names, including B.B. King; Emerson, Lake & Palmer; Etta James; Lionel Richie; Michael McDonald; REO Speedwagon; Ringo Starr; and Rod Stewart.

Throughout his long and impressive career, Walsh has played with bands while also taking on ambitious solo projects. In 1970 and 1971, he scored two gold albums with his first band, The James Gang, and shortly thereafter released his first solo album in 1973. Then, in 1976, he was asked to join the Eagles and they immediately hit No 1 with "Hotel California" and "The Long Run."

Starting in 1981, Walsh released eight solo albums, including two greatest hits albums, and in 1994, he re-united with the Eagles, and the result was another No 1 album, 1994's "Hell Freezes Over." In 1998, the Eagles were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on their first nomination, and a resulting world tour grossed more than $35 million.

Show time for Joe Walsh is 8 p.m. Tickets are $80, $75, $60 and $55 and are available now at StarTicketsPlus.com or by calling (800) 585-3737. Tickets are also available at Spotlight29.com and at the Spotlight 29 Casino Gift Shop. Tickets may also be available at the Spotlight Showroom Box Office on the day of the show.
