GoodBooks: We have an album...

London, UK. (Top40 Charts/ SONY BMG MUSIC Entertainment) - It's called Control, and it comes out on July 30th. Before that, comes the Passchendaele single. Let's go...

This time last year GoodBooks had just signed to Columbia (see?). In the intervening 12 months, the band have played 118 gigs, we've written 49 news stories (including this one about Facebook, way before it was in all the papers) and, perhaps most importantly, GoodBooks have written and recorded a full album of songs.

Meanwhile, the Passchendaele single will be released on July 16th, on CD and 2 coloured 7"s. New tracks include No One Else Knows How To Hide Quite Like You, You'll Never Win and Hiding Away, and you'll also get the Dekko Remix of Passchendaele and the Xfm session recording of Leni.

One final fact before the tracklist- Walk With Me and Turn It Back have both been re-recorded for the album, since their previous incarnations, and the former now includes cameos from Blaine Harrison (Mystery Jets), Daniel from Cajun Dance Party and Fields.
