NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Ramen Records) - "RIOT!," the new album from Fueled By Ramen recording group Paramore, has made a stunning chart debut following its first week of release. The Tennessee-based band's sophomore effort - which features the breakthrough first single/video, "Misery Business" - has entered the Billboard 200 at No 20 with over 42,000 units sold, marking the band's best-ever sales week, and one of the highest sales and chart debuts for Fueled By Ramen (second only to Fall Out Boy). In addition, "RIOT!" is No 6 on the current Alternative Albums chart and No 7 on the current Rock Albums chart.

Fueled by Paramore's fervent fan following, "RIOT!" has proven a massive digital sales success. The album hit No 1 on the iTunes Alternative Albums chart, while ranking among iTunes' overall Top 10.

Paramore will spend the summer on the road, joining the main stage line-up on the Vans Warped Tour 07. The band will kick-start their third stint on the fest beginning next Friday, June 29th at Pomona, California's Pomona Fairgrounds, with shows continuing through mid-August (see itinerary below). From there, Paramore will cross the Atlantic for a main stage appearance at the UK's world-famous Carling Weekend: Reading & Leeds, slated for August 25th and 26th.

"Misery Business" is already creating a ruckus across the MTV spectrum. Paramore made an eagerly anticipated visit to MTV's "TRL" on Tuesday, giving fans a "First Look" at the "Misery Business" clip. The band is among the artists featured on MTV's "Discover & Download," with the video set to enter official "Discover & Download" rotation next week. To celebrate Paramore's status as one of MTV's favorite new acts, exclusive photos of the band will be shading the windows at MTV's Times Square studios all summer long. Furthermore, July will see Paramore headlining a full-length concert for "MTV Live," with a broadcast date to be announced later.

Over at MTV2, "Misery Business" recently premiered as the network's "Unleashed" video, airing hourly throughout the day. Paramore is also featured on the latest installment of MTV2's "Playlibs," taking questions and introducing some of their all-time favorite videos. As if that weren't enough, "Misery Business" is also in rotation at mtvU, where an exclusive "Backstage Pass" interview has just debuted.

At the same time, "Misery Business" is blowing up online, coming in as the week's No 3 most-streamed clip at mtvU.com. In addition, the video is among the week's top 20 most-streamed at both MTV.com and MTV2.com.

Paramore is also shaping up as major fan favorites on Fuse, where "Misery Business" proved victorious in the weekly "Oven Fresh" competition before entering official rotation. The band has been featured on such popular programs as "Steven's Untitled Rock Show" and "The Sauce" (which included an exclusive three-song live performance).

Online, Paramore continues to grow its fan following with each passing day. The band's MySpace page - www.myspace.com/paramore - has logged over 11 million total plays thus far, while its PureVolume site - www.purevolume.com/paramore - has notched more than 2.5 million streams to date and has remained a staple on the Top 10 rankings for over 2 months. Paramore is also proving massively popular at YouTube, where the band's videos and exclusive clips have received over 4 million total plays.

Paramore was among the breakthrough bands of 2006, with their debut album, "ALL WE KNOW IS FALLING," reaping international acclaim and climbing past 100,000 units sold. Two years of near non-stop roadwork turned the band from ebullient newcomers to a confident and charismatic live outfit, blowing away crowds everywhere with its explosively melodic sound and on-stage enthusiasm. "RIOT!" marks a major leap forward for the Tennessee quartet, a full-throated declaration of ambition, musical growth, and dedication. Songs such as "Hallelujah" and "For A Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic" display an increased depth and intensity without sacrificing any of the band's melodic trademarks.
