NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Universal Republic Records) - FAIR TO MIDLAND's first major label release, Fables From a Mayfly (Serjical Strike/Universal Republic) has just debuted at No 2 on Billboard's New Artist chart, coming on the heels of the success of their rock radio single 'Dance of the Manatee.' With critical acclaim growing for the Dallas-based quintet's unique 'potent emotional hard rock' (Los Angeles Times, 5/1/07) and 'pummeling prog-rock that captivates you with its intensity...' (Fort Worth Star Telegram, 6/21/07), Fair to Midland have also been confirmed to support The Smashing Pumpkins at their first two shows at San Francisco's historic Fillmore Theater July 15 & 16.

Renowned for their mesmerizing live performances on tour in the US and overseas, as well as at this year's Coachella, Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park and Download festivals, Fair to Midland-Darroh Sudderth (vocals), Cliff Campbell (guitar), Jon Dicken (bass), Brett Stowers (drums) and Matt Langley (keys/electronics)—are set as main support on Chevelle's US tour this fall, slated to run from late August through October.
