Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Edison Media Research) - Edison Media Research President, Larry Rosin, will present 'The Hispanic American Relationship to Country Radio and Music,' at Belmont University's Massey Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, August 1st at 4:00 PM. This is an encore presentation of the study which was the most talked about panel at this year's Country Radio Seminar.

The study of 600 Hispanics nationwide, age 12-49, and their relationship with Country music was commissioned by Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. and conducted by Edison to examine the growth potential of the format among America's most rapidly expanding demographic group. The presentation is of interest to the Country music community because it shows the tremendous potential for growth in attracting 'the newest Americans' to the Country format. The event offers another opportunity for those who were unable to attend the presentation at the 38th Annual Country Radio Seminar.

Rosin, will present the original findings of the research project and give the audience an overview of actions taken by the radio and record industries in response to the study. According to Rosin, "We have been very impressed with the response to the research. This is indeed a topic whose time has come. Its relevance to the future growth of the format is very important."

Tickets to the event are available at www.crb.org. Admission is $20. A 50% discount is available to subscribers of the Country Radio Broadcaster's weekly Executive Memo publication, as well as to members of industry organizations who assist in publicizing the event. For further information contact the CRB offices at 615-327-4487.
