WHAT: 3rd Annual GRAMMY Camp — This program will offer students a 17-day interactive residential summer music experience that is sponsored in part by Epiphone and other companies. This unique opportunity focuses on all aspects of commercial music, with instruction by industry professionals in an immersive creative environment with cutting-edge technology in a state-of-the-art facility. The program will explore 12 music career tracks: Audio Engineering, Film Scoring, Music Production, Music Journalism, and performance tracks in Keyboard, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone and Singer/Songwriting. All tracks culminate in media projects, CD recordings and showcase performances. GRAMMY Camp is held at the Citrus College Entertainment Technology Complex and other venues throughout Los Angeles, Calif., with instruction by the college faculty, GRAMMY Award-winning and -nominated professionals and industry specialists associated with The Recording Academy The curriculum explores the creative process and engages students in the technical aspects of creating, performing and recording, while emphasizing new and emerging music technologies.
