NEW YORK (MTV) - Ashanti and Nas are the latest artists confirmed to perform at the 19th Annual MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York on Aug. 29.

They join the previously announced Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Pink, Eminem, Shakira, and P. Diddy. Also newly secured for the show are presenters Kylie Minogue, Enrique Iglesias, Avril Lavigne, Johnny Knoxville, American Idol judges Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, and Randy Jackson and the two (not-yet-determined) American Idol contestants.
