MIAMI, FL. (Top40 Charts/ Machete Music) - Wisin & Yandel received news of their Latin Grammy nomination in a studio while they were conducting a photo shoot for cover their latest musical production "W vs. Yandel: Los Extraterrestres" (The Extraterrestrials) which will be released November the 6th.

Wisin & Yandel were nominated for a Latin Grammy in the category of Best Urban Song for their song "My Space." Both of them expressed great satisfaction with the news and said they would continue to work with even more intensity to continue to receive the favor of their public.

The photo shoot was directed by the renowned photographer Floridian Schneider, who traveled from Los Angeles to supervise every detail of the session. Schneider is a photographer who specializes in elaborating composite photos. The process entails taking hundreds of photos of his subjects and placing them on a computer generated background to create a 3D effect. Schneider has done work for many internationally renowned artists. Most recently he concluded pieces for Ludacris and Three 6 Mafia. The photo shoot with Wisin and Yandel took 10 hours to complete.

The wardrobe was designed by stylist Ed Coriano, who has been their fashion stylist for the last 18 months and who has been responsible for transforming their image to one much more slick and elegant but without loosing their urban edge.

Wisin & Yandel continue with a very hectic schedule since they are wrapping up the production of their latest album.

"We are working very hard to surpass the expectations of our fans' stated the authors of Pam Pam. This 18 track production will include collaborations of international artists like Franco De Vita and Don Omar, among others.

The duo explained that the title of the album is a reaffirmation that they have no competition and that this new production will include music "that is out of this world".

Once they conclude their work on the album, they will embark in a frantic promotional plan throughout the US and will continue in Latin America and Europe. Wisin & Yandel are also preparing a stellar presentation for the closing ceremonies of the Viva del Mar Festival, which will be held in February.
