The 8th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, set for November 8 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, will be broadcast live on the Univision Network from 8 - 11 p.m. ET/PT.

Being nominated for Latin GRAMMY honors is a big deal, said Jose Blanco, owner, manager and head mastering engineer of Master House. We put a lot of time and hard work behind each project and at every stage of the production we are involved in, he added.

A proven industry leader in the recording and mastering field, Master House Studios is no stranger to receiving recognition from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) for the outstanding work created by their engineers. In 2006, two Latin GRAMMY award winners - Julieta Venegas Limon y Sol (Best Alternative Music Album) and Juan Fernando Fonseca's Te Mando Flores (Best Tropical Song) - were mastered by Blanco (Limon y Sol was produced by Cachorro Lopez and mixed by Cesar Sogbe of Master House Studios). Earlier this year, Limon y Sol was also awarded a GRAMMY for the Best Latin Pop Album.

With 10 Latin GRAMMY nominations (two wins), two GRAMMY nominations (one win) and two Premios Gardels (Argentina's equivalent of the GRAMMYs) in 2006 and six Latin GRAMMY nominated projects with a Master House imprint in 2005, Blanco is enjoying the accomplishments of his studio and engineers and growing respect from his peers.

Currently, Blanco is busy working on a number of projects including a classical album for acclaimed orchestra conductor and composer and music director for the Miami Symphony, Eduardo Marturet. Blanco has also recently completed mastering work on several albums for major Latin artists including Argentinean singer and composer Andres Calamaro whose new album La Lengua Popular is burning up the charts in Spain and set to be released in Latin America in the near future. Blanco also worked on albums by Venezuelan Hip Hop/Reggaeton group Treo and Brazilian pop artist Leonardo. Master House's Studio B was also recently chosen as the locale to record vocal tracks for Reggaeton Artists RKM y Ken Y (with Andres Bermudez, engineer) and also for mixing the new single for a tribute to Juan Gabriel by Artist Vicentico lead singer from Los Fabulosos Cadillacs (Cesar Sogbe, engineer).

Many other artists and producers have chosen Master House for recording, mixing and/or mastering their music including Belanova, Franco De Vita, Morissonpoe, producer Cachorro Lopez, Alicastro, Ilegales, La Ultima Risa, Guaco, Pianist Enrique Chia, Orchestra Conductor and Composer Eduardo Marturet, Calle 13 and Ricky Martin, to name just a few.

The engineers at Master House Studios have also worked with some of the world's most recognizable music icons including Madonna, Prince, Aerosmith, Collective Soul and TLC. Master House Studios engineers have been involved in many gold and platinum certifications as well as GRAMMY, Latin GRAMMY and Premios Gardel awards and nominations for their mastering work.
