LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Apocket Bleu Official Website) - Sunday October 14th, The Stone Pony, Asbury Park's legendary night club, will welcome Apocket Bleu back to perform following their recent appearance this summer. The Sunday afternoon lineup will showcase promising new bands. The band was invited back to the club after a stellar performance this past August.

Apocket Bleu is comprised of four young men including former Bleak City band mates Paul LoPresti (keys, vocals) and Alexander "Sandy" Eldred (bass, vocals), along with Ryan Schugar (guitar, drums and vocals), and Jon Zoerb (drums, vocals). They will rock the house with their original songs and some well-known covers. The show starts at 2 PM. The band members draw from a variety of genres to craft a unique sound not heard from other bands their age.

Hailing from the greater Atlantic City area, they have enjoyed rising success with their jazz and classical infused original rock tunes. They are highly talented and knowledgeable musicians with tremendous collective playing experience given their youth. The result is a sophisticated sound with rich instrumentals and unique sounding vocals. Guitarist Ryan Schugar is in Austin, TX this week meeting with Willie Nelson. Nelson has a recently launched independent record label. In addition, the band has worked on an original score for an upcoming movie. Bassist Sandy Eldred has just come off stage at the Inaugural Mid-Atlantic Blues and Music Festival in Atlantic City, held September 29th and 30th at Bernie Robbins Stadium. He shared the stage with children of Blues Legends such as Muddy Waters, Johnny Lee Hooker, Luther Allison, Johnny Clyde Copeland, Lonnie Brooks and more.

Since their official launch this summer, the band's calendar continues to fill with opportunities which are sure to escalate. They have upcoming performances scheduled at Le Grand Fromage (Atlantic City), and more. Check the band website at www.apocketbleu.com and their My Space at www.myspace.com/apocketbleu for dates and times. Individual band member's biographies can also be found on their website, along with MP3s, video footage, and more. Also check them out at www.youtube.com/apocketbleu
