Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Adrenaline Music) - As THE BASTARD FAIRIES have been garnering more press here in the U.S. with their innovative videos, being one of the bands to break new ground by giving away their album Memento Mori as a free download on their website (www.thebastardfairies.com) and recently having their latest video 'A Venomous Tale' world premiere on Windows Media - fans have been growing worldwide and especially in the U.K. where they have caught the attention of Mojo Magazine (July 2007- feature 'Not So Dumb Bastards') and Britain's SHED SEVEN, who have asked them to open them for two shows in December and are the only U.S. band to be opening for the tour. Though little known in the U.S., SHED SEVEN are Brit Pop pioneers, who enjoyed a run of fifteen consecutive Top 40 hits including the classics 'Going For Gold', 'Chasing Rainbows' and 'Getting Better', who have reunited in a special tour this November and December four years after their original split. The line-up will include guitarist Paul Banks - the first time he's appeared onstage with the Sheds since 1999. The five piece band will be completed by the other original members Joe Johnson, Alan Leach, Tom Gladwin, and of course Rick Witter. Originally scheduled for a 15 date tour, due to overwhelming demand for SHED SEVEN, five extra shows have been added so far. 'I watched a sh*t load of independent British movies when I was growing up so I think the English influence definitely shines through in my writing now. I have seen our U.K. fans really responded to my warped view of this world and I am enticed to see them in a live setting so I can abuse their minds just a little bit more', says Yellow Thunder Woman. Los Angeles based THE BASTARD FAIRIES have become an internet phenomena. Over 1.5 million free tracks downloaded from their debut album 'Memento Mori' have been recorded to date. Within a span of just five months, they were the No 18 Most Subscribed (All Time) Musicians and No 31 Most Viewed (All Time) Musicians on You Tube with their innovative homemade videos for their release Memento Mori (The Bastard Fairy Records). Dates with SHED SEVEN: 12/17/07 - London, U.K. - Shepherd's Bush Empire 12/19/07 - Oxford, U.K. - Academy Tickets on sale now www.gigsandtours.com and www.seetickets.com THE BASTARD FAIRIES It's not just a band, It's a way of life
