Compton, California-based rapper Guerilla Black released Guerilla City via Virgin Records in 2004, which sold more than three hundred-thousand copies. In September 2007, Guerilla Black released his sophomore album, God Bless the Child with the label Artist Garage. Guerilla Black, along with Larenz Tate (Menace II Society, Ray), Noel Gugliemi (Training Day, The Fast and the Furious), was featured in Ubisoft's 2005 urban themed car racing game, 187 Ride or Die, for which he also produced the soundtrack. Matt Harmon, chief executive officer of TM Media Group, stated, "Guerilla Black already has an established following in the video game industry through his prior entrepreneurial work in this field. Hot Dollar is a newer artist, who has wide industry support through the Def Jam label. These agreements and our agreement with Ice-T are indicative of TM Media Group's traction in the entertainment industry. It showcases our inherent ability to garner celebrity appeal and capability to promote our product once it enters the commercialization phase."
Mr. Harmon Continued, "TM Media Group continues to move forward on all fronts with our film, music and entertainment offerings. By partnering Manaj's album with her documentary, Daddy's Shadow, TM Media group is leveraging the film to market Manaj to a large rap audience. We believe the growing buzz and market anticipation surrounding the debut of Daddy's Shadow and this album will solidify Manaj's very promising career in the making."
