On October 10th, IAD RADIO is thrilled to feature Paul Weston as our Humanitarian Artist of the Month for October. Weston is a man of great talent, purpose and positivity. "Feel So Good" was his first single released in 1985 on Cottage Industry records. Plans for 2007 include Weston's most ambitious music project to date, a 15 minute music piece entitled "My Desire". There will be several "special guest" musicians contributing to this project and there will be more news soon.

On October 17th, IAD RADIO is excited to feature Julian Sage Miyata. The local media have already hailed Miyata as a "Pint-sized Powerhouse Performer!" and a "Young Singing Sensation!" Incredibly enough, he has already sung twice on stage at the Hartford Civic Center Stadium, performed the National Anthem for the HealthNet Nutmeg Games opening ceremonies for 4000 attendees, closed the event singing "The Impossible Dream," has performed to a sold-out crowd at the prestigious Goodspeed Opera House, has won 3 singing competitions, has performed in leading roles at The Spirit of Broadway theater, sang for hundreds at dinner engagements where he was the headline performer, and has been invited to reappear for numerous events. What's truly amazing about all this is that Miyata only discovered he could sing just before turning 11 in April 2006!!

On October 24th, IAD RADIO is excited to feature Kashy Keegan, a 23 year old piano singer- songwriter from the UK. He taught himself to play keys and has developed a fluid, distinctive style to playing and writing. His music ranges from up tempo Motown tracks to meaningful ballads. He has sensitivity for emotion and believes that the most powerful songs are those that uplift and inspire people. "I am not ashamed to show my sensitivity, emotions or vulnerability. We are all human and we all feel, so I see no reason to hide or pretend to be anything different" says Keegan. Above all, Keegan believes that good songs are those that bring out the real person in someone, break down inhibitions and encourage the confidence in people to let go and be themselves.

On October 31st IAD RADIO is thrilled to feature David Vernon, a self-actualized, multi-talented singer and clothing designer. In the studio, Varnon often finishes recordings in a single take. Because he is a recording artist who has worked with many different style composers, he purposely works closely with those around him at achieving what the composer had felt at the core of their composition. In addition, reading and researching fashion from a very early age has provided the skills needed to create "one-of-a-kind inspirations." His sketches are varied in style and exquisitely detailed.
Vernon taught himself how to sew his creations. Trial and error have presented unusual, interesting and sometimes tricky stitching methods. "I use the term building instead of sewing, because for me, fashion is about the architecture of the human form. Fashion allows us to project a mood or be in the blend of things. I'm sure I have some ways of sewing that are not or may never have been done before."
