(Top40 Charts/ Roadrunner Records) - Roadrunner Records is proud to announce two premier wins at 2007 Radio and Records Industry Achievement Awards for top label in the Active Rock and Rock categories. The label has been nominated several times, but this year marks Roadrunner's first triumph. Up against major label heavyweights such as Atlantic, Universal, Virgin, Warner Brothers and Zomba, Roadrunner was noted for its outstanding achievements in the Rock and Active Rock formats. Roadrunner Vice President of Promotion Mark Abramson was also nominated for an award for Rock and Active Rock Executive of the Year. Roadrunner artists included in the Rock and Active Rock format include chart toppers Nickelback, as well as Stone Sour, Killswitch Engage and Black Stone Cherry. Roadrunner has experienced a fruitful year in radio, with Nickleback and Stone Sour leading the pack.
