Scottsdale, AZ. (Top40 Charts/ Crush Records) - Arizona-based metal band F5 have recently entered the studio to record the follow-up to their 2005 debut, 'A Drug For All Seasons.' The currently-untitled sophomore effort is being recorded at Crush Recording Studio in Scottsdale, AZ, with production by owner Ryan Greene. 'This looks to be a very musically invigorating record,' says bassist David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth). 'No doubt there will be hints of F5's past sound on the disc, but these new songs are definitely developing a much more progressive sound for the band.' Due to the departure of original drummer Dave Small, Jimmy DeGrasso of Ministry has been enlisted for the session's drumming. Having just inked a worldwide record deal with OarFin Distribution, F5's new disc is slated for a spring 2008 release.
