Missy Higgins kicked off her '...For One Night Only' tour over the weekend in North Queensland playing to thousands of eager fans. The tour is now heading south and hits Brisbane this Friday night and N.S.W next week. This is the final national tour for her triple platinum album "On A Clear Night" with some dates already sold out and all remaining dates selling fast.
To coincide with Missy's national "...For One Night Only" concert tour, the album has been released as a special tour edition which includes a bonus DVD featuring "The Making Of On A Clear Night" documentary plus all the music video clips from this album including a never-seen-before Director's Cut of "Steer".
Missy's newest single - a live favourite - "Peachy" features special guest, Neil Finn on guitar. The 'pissed off yet feel good' pop song is currently enjoying radio and tv airplay across the country and has just been released digitally. The single includes 4 b-sides including a live version of "100 Round The Bends".
Internationally, Missy has recently completed a successful tour of America with her album being slated for a January 2008 release. In anticipation of Missy's US album release, her Top 10 ARIA single "Where I Stood" will feature in the award-winning primetime television medical drama, Grey's Anatomy airing to millions of Americans this week and is scheduled to air in Australia early April 2008. The heart-breaking ballad also recently featured on another popular U.S television series, Smallville, the song has since delivered a strong jump on the U.S digital charts.
