Seattle, WA. (Top40 Charts/ West Country Records) - Presenting sweet, soulful vocals and a return to traditional country music, Seattle's Lacey D debuts her new CD "Everyday Girl" December 4th, 2007 to be released by West Country Records. The talented singer/songwriter recorded the set featuring music industry veterans Michael Behymer (Roy Clark, Wayne Newton, Frankie Lane); Fred Newell (Jerry Reed, Marty Stuart, Porter Wagoner); and David Northrup (Travis Tritt), among others at Bayou Studios in Nashville with producer Scott Turner (Slim Whitman, Jimmy Bryant) at the helm. "Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work in the studio with countless seasoned entertainers," states Turner. "But what a joy it was to work to produce Lacey. Even the A Team studio musicians remarked about how rewarding it was to play for an artist who was so professional in her approach."

Lacey D, that little girl with the big voice, began her enthusiasm for country music over 12 years ago. Like most singers, she began vocalizing in school and church choirs. Throughout junior and senior high school, Lacey studied voice and trained at a performing arts school where she sang in musical theater, cabaret shows and participated in master classes. At 14, Lacey was introduced to a local songwriter and music publisher/producer in Seattle who had a recording studio. That meeting led to a 10 year friendship and hundreds of hours in the recording studio. It was through that relationship that Lacey discovered Nashville producer Scott Turner who helped select songs for "Everyday Girl" and eventually brought Lacey to Nashville to produce her debut CD.

Wednesday, December 5th marks the first celebration honoring Lacey's CD release. The event, sponsored by West Country Records, is scheduled from 5:30-8:30PM at Little Red Hen, 7115 Woodland Ave., NE, Seattle, WA 98115. Phone 206/522-1168. The event is free to the general public and Lacey will perform several tunes from her album for attendees.

West Country Records will soon accept pre-CD sales orders at Lacey's web site - https://www.laceyd.com - for $14.99 (plus shipping and handling). Pre-orders through Lacey's web site by November 28th will be shipped December 7th and the first 100 CD orders receive a free autographed photo of Lacey D. "Everyday Girl" will also be available soon worldwide through CD Baby, Digstation, and iTunes, and in Seattle at several Silver Platters retail outlets.
