Sydney, AU. (Top40 Charts/ EMI MUSIC Australia) - To coincide with their national headline tour, The Cat Empire are releasing their third single 'Fishies' from their latest album 'So Many Nights'. 'Fishies' is a proven highlight of their live shows with all the horns, bass, piano and hip shaking lyrics we've come to know and love as uniquely The Cat Empire.

On the last day of January, The Cat Empire will commence their national tour with The Beautiful Girls, Blue King Brown and Ash Grunwald. This is a line-up The Cat Empire have dreamed of touring with since their early days trawling the east coast of Australia united them with members from The Beautiful Girls and Blue King Brown. Felix from The Cat Empire says 'It's like being able to take all your great musical mates on tour with you, to all the places you dreamed you might one day be able to play'. Taking things to a whole new level, they have chosen to deliver this show in some of Australia's most prestigious venues, where there will be plenty of room to dance in fabulous outdoor spaces.

When the show hits the road, over 70 cast and crew will be touring the country, with more than 30 musicians on stage, playing twelve venues, showcasing four of Australia's finest live acts. The Cat Empire will be bringing along a string quartet (made up of members from The Australian Youth Orchestra), a troupe of dancers and The Empire Horns.

The album 'So Many Nights' available digitally and in stores now
The single 'Fishes EP' available digitally Feb 9
