London, UK. (Top40 Charts/
Clash Music) - As the front cover stars of the latest issue (on sale from January 7th),
Hot Chip demonstrate their affinity with technology - admitting that they receive Google Alerts whenever anyone puts anything about them on the web. Their inbox will be heaving then, when
Clash Music exclusively offers site users the chance to stream their brand new album, 'Made In The Dark', one week before it hits the shops.
From Monday 28th January, you can log on to Clash Music and hear all 13 tracks - including the incendiary single 'Ready For The Floor' - from the album that Clash hailed "the dance album of the year."
'Made In The Dark' will be formally released on Monday 4th February 2008 through EMI. This, the third album from the harbingers of the electropop revival follows on from the success of 'The Warning' and 'Coming On Strong', LPs which assaulted the public for their attention and dragged them onto the dancefloor.
Having spent the past few years establishing themselves as one of Britain's most exciting live acts, as well as recording and remixing exhilarating dance tracks, Hot Chip have built up a fanatic following desperate to hear their new album.
There's no need for Hot Chip devotees to resort to illegal measures to do so, however, as Clash Music allows them to listen to Hot Chip's sizzling new dancefloor opus - in full, one whole week before the rest of the planet (except fellow Clash reader's of course...).
Get ready for the dancefloor early by visiting Clash Music and getting your Hot Chip fix before anyone else.
Also featured in the issue are interviews with Adele, Goldfrapp, Madness, The Mars Volta, Sons And Daughters, The Duke Spirit and Lightspeed Champion. In celebration of the New Year, we also present 40 essential bands to watch in 2008, including The Ting Tings, Santogold, The Courteeners, Vampire Weekend, MGMT and Black Kids.
