LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ RCA Music Group) - RCA Music Group wins a total of 7 Grammys at this year's 50th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony held this evening in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.

Foo Fighters and their album Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace (RCA) earned a total of 2 Grammy awards including Best Rock Album, and their song "The Pretender" won for Best Hard Rock Performance. This is the Foos' sixth Grammy win. Previously, they've earned four Grammy Awards including two for Best Rock Album for There Is Nothing Left To Lose (2000) and One By One (2003).

J Records artist Alicia Keys, previously a nine-time Grammy Award winner, earned two more tonight for her song "No One."(which she co-wrote for her album As I Am) in the categories of Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and for Best R&B Song.

RCA Records recording artist Mark Ronson won the coveted Producer of the Year, Non-Classical Grammy for his work on his own release Version, among other nominated recordings including the album Back to Black by Amy Winehouse and the track "Littlest Things" by Lily Allen. Special congratulations go to Ronson for producing Amy Winehouse's "Rehab," which won the Grammy Award for Record of the Year.

Carrie Underwood's hit single "Before He Cheats," a track from the 6X platinum album Some Hearts (Arista), won her two more Grammy awards - Best Female Country Vocal Performance and a songwriting award for Best Country Song. Last year, Carrie won 4 Grammy Awards for Some Hearts, tallying a total of 6 awards earned now for her debut record.

J Records recording artist Alicia Keys opened the 50th Annual Grammy Awards with an inventive performance, dueting with Frank Sinatra on the song "Learnin' the Blues," singing along with and accompanying Sinatra on piano. Alicia introduced fellow RCA Music Group artist Carrie Underwood who performed her 2x Grammy Award-winning song "Before He Cheats." Later in the broadcast, Keys was joined by John Mayer for a performance of her Grammy Award-winning song "No One." Foo Fighters' Grammy Award-winning song "The Pretender" was highlighted in a special "My Grammy Moment" set on an outside stage at the StaplesCentercomplex. Winner and violinist Ann Marie Calhoun accompanied the Foos as a member of an orchestra conducted by legendary rock icon John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin. Aretha Franklin, this year's Music Cares Award recipient, performed the Grammy award-winning song "Never Gonna Break My Faith" with Bebe Winans as part of the Gospel Tribute which also featured the Clark Sisters.

Special congratulations to Aretha Franklin who won her 18th Grammy Award this evening for Best Gospel Performance for "Never Gonna Break My Faith" with Mary J. Blige, from the original soundtrack album Bobby.

Further congratulations go to Arista recording artist Jennifer Hudson, whose incredible performance contributed to the Grammy Award win of "Love You I Do" (from "Dreamgirls," composed by Siedah Garrett & Henry Krieger) as Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media.
