LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Nacional Records) - Following Manu Chao's Recent First Career Latin Grammy Win And No 1 Debut On The Billboard Charts, Critically-Acclaimed 'La Radiolina' Has Been Nominated For A Billboard Latin Music Award In The Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album Category; New Remixes Of The Election Season Anthem, "Politik Kills", To Hit Airwaves In Coming Weeks; Make-Your-Own-Remix Fan Website To Follow

Manu Chao's 'La Radiolina' has been nominated for a Billboard Latin Music award in the "Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album" category. This follows a highly-successful year which featured the global star winning his first career Latin Grammy, selling out large venues across the world and year-end critical acclaim across most major media outlets including Time, Spin, The New Yorker, and the Los Angeles Times.

A collection of new remixes of "Politik Kills" will hit radio airwaves in the coming weeks. The political anthem proves especially timely as the U.S. Presidential race intensifies and the rest of the world watches. A new video for "Politik Kills" will also be released shortly along with a special website where fans can create their own remixes of the track.

In its first week on sale, 'La Radiolina' reached the top of numerous sales and radio charts, bolstered by the support of taste-making radio stations and critical praise from the likes of Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, Pitchfork, Spin and many others. Entertainment Weekly described the album as "so sonically vivid, so gloriously evocative, translation seems almost superfluous. The Los Angeles Times called it "mesmerizing."
