Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Perfect Earth Tours Eco Spa & Resort) - Perfect Earth Tours Eco Spa & Resort announced today that Eldar, the 21-year-old Jazz piano star, has won the top prize at 'Green with Music,' a $20,000 Spa get-a-way package for two at their brand new eco resort and spa, located in the Yukon Territory of Canada.
'Green with Music,' a luxury green gifting retreat and Spa for Grammy nominees, took place on February 8 - 9 at The South Collection, a new sustainable hi-rise development in downtown Los Angeles. Eldar's name was drawn from a variety of press, celebrity, VIP and other entrants for the coveted main prize.
Eldar dazzled the audience and at home viewers when he performed last Sunday at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards telecast on February 10, 2008. The young artist played an Oscar Peterson favorite, "Place St. Henri," which appears on re-imagination, his Grammy-nominated album in the Best Contemporary Jazz Album category.
This was not Eldar's first appearance on a Grammy telecast - he was only 13 years old when he was invited to perform on the 2000 awards show.
Mike Mueller and Alana Nelson, Founders of Perfect Earth Tours, commented: "Perfect Earth Tours is very proud to be part of this 'Green movement' and at the same time support artists in their efforts to go green. Congratulations Eldar and we are looking forward to meeting you in the 'Green North!'"
"Eldar is a great young talent!" added John Forrester, co-founder of Green with Music. "This exciting prize couldn't go to a more gracious and deserving winner. We wish Eldar continued success and thank Perfect Earth Tours for contributing such a generous prize at 'Green with Music.'"
