Byron Zanos Joins Matt White Tour

Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Geffen Records) - To celebrate the release of his second CD Still in a Fight, award-winning singer/songwriter Byron Zanos will join Five Times August and headliner Matt White on a Southeast club tour from March 10-14 , 2008.

Still in a Fight is a pop opera chronicling the emotional highs and lows of a failed relationship. Zanos' first album Somewhere in the Middle featured the song 'Secrets and Lies,' which was a Top 20 finalist in the first ever American Idol Songwriting Competition. Zanos has received honors from the 2006 We Are Listening Awards (Berklee College of Music), the 22nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest, and the Billboard World Song Contest and opened shows for Aerosmith, Meat Loaf, and more in the summer of 2007. Zanos regularly plays both solo and full band sets in the New York metro area.

Music industry veteran Jerry Lembo, who manages Zanos, comments that 'The opportunity to open for Matt White, whose network extends to the highest levels of Interscope, Geffen, Universal Music Group, EMI Music Publishing, CAA, W Management and Hegleman Creative Management is very exciting. It gives Byron a chance to extend his core audience in the northeast to the southern region.'

FiveTimesAugust is touring in support of their upcoming CD The Brighter Side, in stores March 18th. Songs from the disc have been featured on MTV's Real World .

Geffen Records recording artist Matt White's was recently proclaimed 'The Next Big Thing' by star blogger Perez Hilton. Rolling Stone Magazine included him on their '10 Artists to Watch' list. White's latest single 'Best Days' is getting great fan reaction on MySpace and Facebook. The video for the song can be seen on MTV's TRL. White's songs have been featured in numerous television shows and films.
