Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ RCA Nashville) - RCA Nashville recording artist Chuck Wicks has been writing songs for his debut release Starting Now for the past five years. Today he celebrates his first Top 5 hit with ' Stealing Cinderella,' a song he co-wrote with George Teren and Rivers Rutherford. The single, which tells the touching story of a young man who is asking for his girlfriend' s hand in marriage, jumped to No 5 on both the R&R/Billboard and Country Aircheck charts and still continues to climb. Wicks just finished a hugely successful run as the opening act on the final leg of Brad Paisley' s Bonfires & Amplifiers Tour. While preparing for the tour, Wicks filmed his rehearsals and has released the video on YouTube (https://youtube.com/watch?v=yTyds_9lJzM). For more videos on Wicks, including a behind-the-scenes from the making of the video for ' Stealing Cinderella,' check out Wicks' YouTube page (https://youtube.com/chuckwicks). Wicks grew up on a family farm in Smyrna , Delaware and moved to Nashville 5 years ago to concentrate on songwriting and to pursue a career in music. Starting Now showcases Wicks' vocal talent and the versatility of his songwriting. Produced by Monty Powell and Dann Huff, the result is a compelling debut, a collection of songs that demonstrate a depth of artistry not usually found on a first album. Wicks' debut single, ' Stealing Cinderella,' was the fastest rising single from a debut artist in 2007.
