Toronto, Canada (Top40 Charts/ Hard Rock Cafe) - Alberta 5-piece alt-rock outfit THE TRAVEZTY storm eastward to close CANADIAN MUSIC WEEK, the nation's annual music conference and artist showcase with a prime performance slot MIDNIGHT, SATURDAY, MARCH 8 at the HARD ROCK CAFE at 297 Yonge St., in Toronto, (416 362 3636). Tickets are $ 8.00.

Nationally known for a pair of significantly charted Rock/CHR/Hot AC radio singles "Coming Clean" and "Holiday" from their 11-track collection WHO YOU ARE, the popular Western Canadians bring unique concrete emotional elements of intense acoustic and fierce electric guitar driven songs to command attention east of Winnipeg with their live show for the first time.

Together for five years, the group is fronted by Scott Robinson, with Danny Douglas on rhythm guitar, Jason Robison on drums and brothers Jason and Brad Ilczynski on lead and bass guitars, respectively.

The perennial radio Showdown Champs, Battle of the Bands winners and finalists in the C+ Nationwide Talent Search, Taber-based The Travezty have shared the bill with Econoline Crush, The Watchmen, The Headstones, 54/40, Tom Cochrane, The Smalls, Wide Mouth Mason, and Prism, among others. On March the 8th, the entertainment includes AMANDA RHEAUME, KENNY MEHLER, THE JOYS and SCARLETT SINS.

"Who You Are" was produced by double JUNO winner and GRAMMY nominee BRANDON FRIESEN and Default drummer DANNY CRAIG in Burnaby and Winnipeg.

The single "Holiday" cracked the MySpace Top 100 and album track "Nothing Less" is featured in the upcoming Ryan Little film Forever Strong. "Who You Are" is available at iTunes and CD Baby.
