NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Atlantic Records) - Poe Boy/Atlantic Records artist Flo Rida makes history today with a record showing on the Nielsen digital sales charts weeks before his debut album hits the streets. Flo Rida's single, "Low," broke the record for most consecutive weeks as the No. 1 ringtone in the country on the Nielsen RingScan chart, with 13 weeks in the top spot

The performance has fueled further anticipation for Flo Rida's debut album, Mail on Sunday, which will be released on March 18th

Flo Rida is also the first ever debut artist to have two Top 10 digital singles prior to an artist's album release. "Low" was at the top of the SoundScan digital singles chart for 13 weeks in a row while "Elevator," the second single from Mail on Sunday, entered the Top 10 only three weeks after its release

"We can't say enough about how excited we are with the digital success of both 'Low' and 'Elevator' from Flo's outstanding debut album," said Mike Caren, EVP, A&R for Atlantic Records.
"For these milestones to be met before his album has even been released is incredible. It proves what we've known all along - that Rap and Hip Hop have a tremendous future in the digital space - but also shows how the creativity and drive of our sales and marketing teams is resonating with our digital retail partners."
