Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Chasen & Company) - Andrew Hollander, composer of 2007's indie hit Waitress, starring Keri Russell, has signed on to compose original music for 2 upcoming features: the upcoming Generation Entertainment film Jack & Addie, and All For A Films LLC / Night and Day Pictures' Serious Moonlight.

Jack & Addie, which stars Kristin Davis and Peter Krause and is written and directed by Jeremy Stein, will go into production in the second half of 2008.
Serious Moonlight, a romantic comedy written by the late Adrienne Shelly, who Hollander collaborated with on Waitress and several other films, is being directed by Cheryl Hines and stars Meg Ryan and Timothy Hutton.

Waitress proved to be the breakout hit of Hollander's career. He has spent the last decade building a strong résumé of top indie film credits including Gray Matters starring Sissy Spacek, Heather Graham, and Molly Shannon and produced by Bob Yari (Crash) and executive produced by Alexander Payne (Sideways). Waitress marked his fourth collaboration with director Adrienne Shelly after work on her 2 short films as well as the feature I'll Take You There, a well-received film starring Ally Sheedy. Their close personal/professional friendship led to Shelly bringing Hollander on Waitress while it was still in the script phase. In addition to the score, Hollander co-wrote a song for the film with Shelly, 'Baby Don't You Cry (The Pie Song).'

In the pop world, Hollander recently co-wrote and produced the upcoming album from Dana Parish entitled Uncrushed. The single, Not My Problem, recently debuted at No 23 on the Billboard AC charts. He also co-wrote the song The Way The War Was Won on the upcoming Your Vegas album A Town And Two Cities (Universal/Republic).

Hollander also co-owns Sugarbox Studios, a New York based, music production company and recording studio which does extensive work in the film, record, and commercial industries. Hollander himself has scored spots for American Express, Coca Cola, and Dasani (the latter directed by renowned filmmaker Wes Anderson).
