NEW YORK (Fuel Official Website) - Fuel hasn't been in the spotlight since touring with Aerosmith almost a year and a half ago, but the band has posted a greeting to fans on its website saying they're getting back on track again. "Just wanted to let you know that we are back in rehearsals!," wrote guitarist/songwriter Carl Bell on the band's website. "Yep, the leash has been dropped, most legal issues are behind us now, and we are back making music again. Thanks to all! Be looking for photos and updates from our rehearsal space and lots of other things. And by the way, the new music is the best ever--that I can promise you. Thanks to everyone for hanging in there during our 'drought.' The best is yet to come!" The band has spent much of the last year involved in litigation, details of which have not been released. The legal battle reportedly kept the band from working on the follow-up to its 2000 album Something Like Human. Fuel had a bona-fide hit with "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)," and Something Like Human went platinum for sales of one million copies as certified by the Recording Industry Association of America.
