DIRECTV Launches Gospel Music Channel On March 19, 2008

ATLANTA, GA. (Top40 Charts/ Gospel Music Channel) - Gospel Music Channel (GMC), the nation's first and only 24/7 all-Gospel/Christian music television network, will be available to DIRECTV customers nationwide on channel 338 beginning Weds. March 19.

This weekend, Gospel Music Channel will become "America's Easter Channel" when it presents GMC's Commercial-Free Easter Marathon featuring some of the biggest names in music starting Easter Sunday, March 23 at 7:00 a.m. ET running until Monday, March 24 at 7:00 a.m. ET.

GMC's Commercial-Free Easter Marathon will feature uplifting and celebratory music videos, concerts and specials by top artists in Gospel/Christian and mainstream music. In-between the music, GMC will present never-before-seen interviews with the musicians and artists sharing Easter stories from their childhood and the significance of Easter in their lives. Among the many performers to be featured are The Clark Sisters, The Isaacs, Austin Bridge, Hawk Nelson, KJ-52, Mike Farris, Tammy Trent and many more.
