The Shelborne has chosen charity 'Keep A Child Alive' and will raise money during the 6 days of events to support Free AIDS drugs to kids in need. The money will also help build a new orphanage. 100% of all money raised for the charity will go directly to Africa. "It is a great way to do something good this year," says Shelborne Director of Marketing, Dennis Wheeler. Leigh Blake the founder of 'Keep A Child Alive' adds, "we applaud the Shelborne for helping people from all over the world remember that a week in Miami filled with fun, sun and parties makes it all too easy to forget that people are dying from a treatable disease every second.
