LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Amoeba Music) - Brandi Shearer, the vocalist with the 'strong, clear and beautiful voice' (Seattle Post-intelligencer), will be hitting the road this spring, supporting buzzed-about singer Kate Walsh. Jazzy chanteuse Quincy Coleman will round out the bill. Curated and sponsored by Amoeba Music, the tour, beginning May 12 in Portland Oregon, promises packed venues and a thrilling live performance from Shearer who Variety described as having 'more than a touch of Janis Joplin heft…Shearer always seemed ready to cut loose and start smashing furniture.'

Fresh off a tour with Vermont rockers Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Shearer joined Walsh and Coleman at SXSW to preview the tour. Shearer's Amoeba debut, Close To Dark, was hailed by People as 'a very good collection of bluesy, heartfelt tales of love and loss.' And LA Weekly said, '[Shearer] has a heaven-sent, heart-shuddering vocal style that makes her sound seasoned and well beyond her young years,' while EW labeled album track 'Lullabies' one of its 'Choice Cuts.'

Kate Walsh had her network debut performances week of release on both Conan and CBS Early Show. Her voice has been described by Rolling Stone as 'glass clear' while People Magazine raved that the track "Your Song" was 'painfully gorgeous'. Quincy Coleman, seen earlier this year on Last Call with Carson Daly, blends pop melodies with surprising organ and horn-infused arrangements, with Performing Songwriter saying "Check it out, your ears will thank you." Her song 'Give It Away' was featured in Fox/Searchlight hit film Waitress.

In addition, Amoeba will be offering free downloads of music by Shearer, Walsh and Coleman to preview the tour at their website, Amoeba.com. Tour information will also be available.
