LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Universal Music Publishing Group) - David Renzer, Chairman & CEO, Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) today announced the successful renewal of an exclusive global publishing agreement with artist/writer/producer T-Pain.

Through the long-term relationship between UMPG, the world's leading music publishing company, and T-Pain, one of the most popular hit-makers to emerge in 2007, the company will continue to co-publish T-Pain's catalog and future works for the world.

Upon making the announcement, Renzer commented, "T-Pain has emerged as one of the hottest and most consistent hit makers on the Pop, R&B and Crossover charts. His 'triple threat' talent as an artist, producer and songwriter have placed him with multiple songs at the top of the charts. We look forward to T-Pain continuing his success in '08 and are thrilled that he has agreed to renew his relationship with UMPG."

"I'm excited to continue my relationship with Universal Music Publishing Group," said T-Pain. "The company is a great company and my Universal team is even greater. Special thanks to David Renzer, David Mantel, Jennifer Blakeman, and Jason Boyarski."

T-Pain recently had nine songs in the Billboard Hot 100 charts, seven of these were in the Top 50, and three of these were in the Top 10. At the same time, T-Pain became the first artist to have four singles in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. Those singles were "Cyclone" (Baby Bash feat. T-Pain), "Good Life" (Kanye West feat. T-Pain), "Kiss Kiss" (Chris Brown feat. T-Pain), and "Low" (Flo-rida feat. T-Pain). T-Pain has upcoming singles with Mariah Carey, Lil Wayne, Omarion, Lil Mama, Charlie Wilson and is working on new albums with Usher, Missy Elliott, Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson, and Mike Jones, among others.

Debuting at No.1 on the Billboard 200 album charts with his Platinum selling album Epiphany, T-Pain received five nominations for the 2008 GRAMMY Awards including Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals for "Bartender" featuring Akon; Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Kiss Kiss" featuring Chris Brown and "Good Life" with Kanye West; Best Rap Song for "Good Life" with Kanye West; and Album of the Year for Graduation by Kanye West. T-Pain dominated the Billboard Year-End Charts 2007 with the No. 1 Hot RingMasters and No. 1 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songwriter, also landing No. 5 Hot 100 Artist and No. 4 Hot 100 Songwriter, among other honors.

Managed by Michael Blumstein, David Abram, and Rocco Valdez of Chase Entertainment, T-Pain is among the impressive names on UMPG's roster, which includes such artists as: Mariah Carey, Ne-Yo, Justin Timberlake, 50 Cent, Swizz Beatz, Prince, Common, Chris Brown, Jill Scott, Chamillionaire, Nas, Ciara, Nelly, UGK, Lil Jon, R Kelly, among many others.
