LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Kountree Boyz Entertainment) - Los Angeles-based record label Kountree Boyz Entertainment announces its first step in the creation of their new indie-empire: the signing of two hot new artists! The label's dynamic duo of talent includes the sultry sounds of African-American country singer Sean Kristopher and chart-topping Pop and R&B songstress Tanika Turner.
Kountree Boyz Entertainment, a full service record label and music management company, is focused on bringing new sounds and trends to the music scene. KBE feels the addition of their new label-mates can only help them in capturing the essence of great music.
Texas native Sean Kristopher, the first artist signed by Kountree Boyz, is a true cowboy in his own right, having grown up idolizing the great Charlie Pride. Known for his golden voice, songwriter, musician and performer Kristopher steers clear of any notoriety for being known as an African-American country singer. As a true cowboy, he loves country music, with influences such as Garth Brooks, George Strait and Charlie Pride. Kristopher starting singing in church at the age of three and hasn't turned away since. He is equally known for his ability to quickly write songs that are amazingly full of meaning and heart. Kristopher enjoys how he can communicate his feelings through his songs and has had the opportunity to write with John Foster, Dale Grey Little Texas, Jane Bach - Encore Publishing, and Anthony Smith, Curb Records Writer.
Australian Tanika Turner is already making great headway with her first single, "It's Right Here," holding steady at No 8 on Billboard's Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles and No 3 on Billboard's Hot Dance Singles Sales chart. Her critically praised first effort has put her on the map and paved the way for her recently released second single, "Compatible." Turner, who is not only blessed with a beautiful voice and talented song writing ability, is also a gifted dancer and actress.
Kountree Boyz Entertainment was founded in 2000 by Thomas. J. Goodin III from Galveston, Texas, and is currently operated by its L.A.-based COO, David Rothstein.
