NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Verve Forecast Records) - On June 10, Verve Forecast will release 'Limits Of The Sky,' the debut album by sibling power-pop group The Bridges. Recorded in Los Angeles, and produced by Matthew Sweet, the album showcases the band's original, indelible songs and shimmering, sunny harmonies. Guaranteed to thaw winter's chill, tunes like "All the Words" "Pieces" and "One I Love" play like a summer mix-tape for a long road trip.

Earlier this year, The Bridges were featured in Paste Magazine's "4 To Watch" column, which noted, "The band's three-part harmonies are catchy every time... The Bridges deliver their material with exuberance, and their story is as charming as the music."

That story is truly a family affair. Comprised of four siblings - Natalie Byrd (keys, acoustic guitar and vocals), Jeremy Byrd (drums), Stacey Byrd (guitar and vocals), Isaaca Byrd (bass and vocals) - and one cousin, Brittany Painter (lead vocals), the group ranges in age from seventeen to twenty-four. Though they live in small-town Alabama, and were home-schooled, garage sale LP discoveries by the likes of Fleetwood Mac and The Mamas and The Papas, opened a new world to The Bridges, and set them on a quest to write the perfect pop song. 'Limits of the Sky' shows how far these wunderkinds have already come.

Through constant touring The Bridges have built a devoted following in the southeast. In 2007, they opened for one of their favorite groups, The Bangles, and later this spring they'll tour with Rooney. Stay tuned for news of headlining dates as well.

The Bridges tour dates with Rooney:
April 28 - Avalon Theatre - Salt Late City, UT
April 29 - Fox Theatre Cafe - Boulder, CO
May 1 - Sokol Underground - Omaha, NE
May 2 - The Annex - Madison, WI
May 3 - The Canopy Club - Urbana, IL
May 5 - House of Blues - Chicago, IL
May 6 - St. Andrews Hall - Detroit, MI
May 7 - Bogart's - Cincinnati, OH
May 8 - Exit - Nashville, TN
